Story / Narration
This quiet monument beside Highway 411 marks the resting place of Nanyehi, better known as Nancy Ward. Her story is much bigger than this stone: she was a Cherokee Beloved Woman whose voice carried through war, diplomacy, and a rapidly changing homeland.
